Valentine McKay-Riddell introduces new book, "The River Goddess & Other Stories" | Arts & Culture

Valentine McKay-Riddell introduces her readers to communication with nature, spirit and animals through her new book, “The River Goddess & Other Stories.”

On Dec. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m., Riddell will give a brief reading of her book followed by a nature walk and crafting at the Open Space Visitors Center.

The first five participants to sign up for the workshop will receive a free copy of the book.

“The River Goddess & Other Stories” was first presented at the New Mexico Women Authors’ Book Festival in October and it is currently sold at Collected Works Bookstore and The Ark in Santa Fe, BookWorks in Albuquerque, Moby Dickens in Taos and at BookWomen in Austin. E-Book versions are also available through Amazon, Barns & Noble and Borders.
