Gas off, evacuation over in Santa Fe | News
An open gas line has been turned off and Santa Fe residents who were evacuated because of it have been allowed to return to their homes.
A number of residents in the Johnson Mesa and Victoria Peak area south of the Santa Fe Community College were told to leave the area just before noon Tuesday.
Officials were able to turn off the gas and now say it is safe for residents to return.
